Let's bring change!

What can bring change? - Education!!!

Despite progress in girls’ education, nearly half a billion women and girls aged 15 years and over are illiterate and just 39 per cent of rural girls attend secondary school. However, estimates show that based on current trends, the educational attainment gender gap can be fully closed in 12 years, in large part due to advancements in some developing countries.

Increasing women’s access to education has been shown to increase women’s labor force participation rates; delay marriage and having children; and leaves women less vulnerable to violence.
